Muhammad Yunus is a Bangladeshi economist, banker, and social entrepreneur. He is the first man of Bangladesh and the 3rd in Bengali nation peoples who was awarded by the Nobel Peace Prize. The first Nobel Peace Prize winner Bengali was the great poet Rabindranath Tagore. Muhammad Yunus's founder the Grameen Bank and pioneering the concepts of microfinance and microcredit in Bangladesh. Yunus's passed his matriculation examination from Chittagong Collegiate School. He was study collage at Chittagong College and completed his BA, MA at Dhaka University in the Department of Economics. In 1971, Muhammad Yunus completed the Ph.D. in economics from Vanderbilt University. Also, he was an assistant professor of economics at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, United States from 1969 to 1972.

Muhammad Yunus is a founding member of the Grameen Foundation and Grameen America. At Chittagong University, Bangladesh, he was a professor of economics and also he became Chancellor of Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland in 2012.
